Aviation Equipment

The collection contains rich variety of apparatuses having secured the flights of the airplanes in the period from the 50’s of 20th century up to nowadays. They were used for navigation of the aircrafts and fixation of their position in the space as well as for control of the operation of different systems and also of their engines. Of great interest are “the black boxes” of the planes – being part of the registration system of the parameters of the flight “SARP-12”. Some aviation appliances are displayed in the indoor exhibition of the museum. Visitors can get familiar with the entire equipment of the planes and helicopters in their cockpits. Of great interest is the cockpit of a plane MiG-15UTI displayed in the indoor exhibition where visitors have immediate access to the equipment.
